Dir count 39 should be 38

My computer was running very slow so I did a Disk Utility and came up with this -

HD corrupt needs to be repaired.

Invalid directory count should be 39 instead of 38.

Can I fix this? If so what steps should I take? Please be as specific as possible.

Reboot into Recovery and run the Repair Disk/First Aid from the Disk Utility

Once the repairs are made, run it again until it returns to NO errors found.
