I have downloaded many apps on my iPhone and I am thinking of upgrading my iPhone.
I don't want to download all the apps I have downloaded before. So is there any way I can make *.IPA files of the apps I have downloaded. So I can install them through iTunes instead of downloading them again.

I preference backing up through iCloud as it remembers everything as it was on my device when I backed it up, and reloads it to my next phone when I select that backup. The best part is that is grabs the latest, fresh copy of each of my apps and puts them back on my device right where I had them.
