Q: Connect my watch to my Ipod

Sometimes I would prefer to connect my Apple Watch to my Ipod instead of having it connected to my IPhone.. Wouldn't it be nice to offer an App for the Ipod so I can connect to my Ipod instead of the phone for whatever reason??

Apple Watch, watchOS 2.2.1

You can look in the App Store and see if there is one. However in Apple's world, people use the phone, not their iPod

    Apple says the Apple Watch

. Requires iPhone 5 or later but does not say why an iPad with cellular dats would not also be acceptable

I Understand totally what your saying. I do have an iPhone too. But battery and over all lifestyle wise I would prefer to use my iPod for the music part. So basically while it's connected to the stereo I can leave it by the stereo and leave the room with my phone in my pocket and still control the music on my ipod via my watch. Other wise when I get a call I have to run across the house to get my phone off of My watch because the Bluetooth starts to distort if it gets to far from my stereo..
