Logic Pro X: Won't let me use songs I have downloaded from apple music?

Logic Pro X won't let me use my songs from apple music. When I click on the media button and then go into my iTunes playlists, no songs come up. How do I make the songs appear? I got this program for the purpose of mixing songs, and if I can't use songs to mix, then there's no point for me. Please help! 🙂
