Use webcams for multi angle recording

I'm wondering if there is a way to use multiple WebCams in order to create a live multicam video?

I'm planning on recording a small conference for my work and the speaker will be having a few guests so I'm looking to record 3 different angles using Webcams and if possible, to do that directly into Final Cut Pro X.

If not possible using FCP, is there another software available on MAC that would allow me to record multiple angles using webcams?

Thanks!

Final Cut Pro cannot capture "live" from a webcam, with the exception of the built-in iSight or FaceTime camera in your mac.

Is this a videoconference, as in the participants are in separate locations, communicating via a platform such as skype, facetime, or similar?

Or did you mention webcams just because that is what you have available for capturing?

If the former, you'd have to look at whatever application will be used and consider the options it may give for recording the conference.

If the lattter, then you'll have to consider the position of the webcams - which is heavily dependant on whether they are built-in to a computer or external.

In any case, you'd need to record those to disk, with sound. In FCP X you'd create a multicam clip and edit that - but not "live", after the fact.
