If you want to address a group of people in an email instead of entering all their email addresses, create a group. From the File menu, choose New Group and enter a name for the group. Select the All Contacts group, to view all of your contacts. Then drag names from the contact list onto your new group in the group list.
Or you could create a "Smart Group.

May 17, 2016 11:23 AM in response to macjackby Frankneedsyou,Thanks Mackjack for you help but my problem isn't that I don't know how to to make a group contact list.
The problem is when I enter a name for the group, the moment I try and do anything else, for example pressing Enter of clicking elsewhere, the name reverts to 'untitled group'.
Thank you for trying though
