Motion 5 crashes after install

I installed the new Motion 5 on my Mac the specs are as follows.....

OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5,

Processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core I7

Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB

ATI Redeon HD 6750M VRAM 1024 MB

After installing Motion 5 my Mac Crashed showing lines in the screen and unresponsive I never had a chance to use it

so I uninstalled it any suggestions on why this happened?
