What's New in iTunes U screen won't disappear

Every time I try to access the iTunes U app on my iPhone 6s mini, there's a What's New in iTunes U screen that won't go away. There's a Get Started button, but when I click it, I can only see the app for a second; that welcome screen comes back. Anyone know how to fix this?
