How do i uninstall Google Earth

I am using an iPad mini.

I have a number of apps that were bought or downloaded free using what is now a defunct username.

I have to delete the apps and download them under my new username.

I have been to the screen, touched Google earth until it wobbles and hit the X and it has disappeared from the screen.

it is still installed and I cant get rid of it.

I have tried to follow a set of instructions that say:

Go to SETTINGS

Find and tap APPLICATIONS

I have no item that is APPLICATIONS on my SETTINGS MENU

Any suggestions

I Don't see why that isn't working but try this. Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Storage>Manage Storage. Let the list of apps load. Find Google Earth. Tap on it and delete it in the next screen.

It would help to know what version of iOS you are running. Also, exactly what is meant by:

If you are on a recent version of iOS, open the Settings app > General > Manage Storage [under STORAGE] > find and tap on the app in the list > Delete App.
