If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

May 17, 2016 6:11 PM in response to Perry Nerantzisby MichelPM,You can't just tell users of the smaller iPad Pro models if the update went wrong they are "out of luck, take it to Apple."
Everyones smaller iPad Pro may have different issues with the different model options.
AND, your iPad Pro issues maybe different from other smaller iPad Pro users.
Plus, this may or may not be problematic across all 9.7 inch screen model iPad Pros.
So, stop posting the same identical response to other 9.7 iPad Pro users until they have identified the exact same issues and conditions of their iPad Pro issues.
Thank You.

May 18, 2016 3:30 PM in response to MichelPMby babowa,I received a reply to my question from Apple (my question was: Considering the reports of the update bricking iPad Pros 9.7, should I update to 9.3.2):
If you encounter this issue on your 9.7-inch iPad Pro, either AppleCare or the Genius Bar will swap out the device for you. This is not a software issue, though it is "triggered" (in a sense) by updating the software.
Followup question: So it will not help to wait for an update to 9.3.2?
Yes, that's correct. Those who encounter this issue should contact Apple Support in whatever way is most convenient for them so we can replace their hardware for them.
I'm going to wait to attempt the update until I can arrange to have a quick Genius Bar appointment and/or Applecare replacement, just in case.

May 18, 2016 3:37 PM in response to Perry Nerantzisby MichelPM,The news is reporting that it is not hapenning to every iPad 9.7 screen models.
So far, it seems to be affecting only a percentage of users only.
Apple is aware of this issue now, but is still recommending that affected users still try a restore/reset through being connected to the latest iTunes on a computer, before bringing the smaller iPad Pro into an Apple Store for, possible, fix or new replacement.
This is not a widespread smaller iPad Pro issue. This issue/bug is not happening across the board on all smaller iPad Pro versions.

It didn't kill mine, so please don't speak for me.
And yes..you can tell folks whatever you like, but when you make a broad statement assuming that your experiences affect every 9.7 iPad, it just makes you look foolish
