Q: Problems with email after upgrading to El Capitan

I have a Mac Book Pro and operating system 1.0.S 10.11.4 with 2.2 GHZ. I just upgraded to El Capitan and can no longer receive email on my austin.rr.com account but I can send it. My yahoo account works fine. I think it is a conflict with I cloud which is new with El Capitan. I have been into ICloud preferences and changed everything I could but no luck. Can some help?
