How do I find out what has been spent on my Apple ID in the recent months? Is there a way to access previous purchase history?

You can also log in to http://reportaproblem.apple.com and you'll see a list of purchases made within the last 90 days.

You can report any of them to Apple directly from there if you have some type of issue with them.
