The 10.11.5 update is 759.1 MB.

The 10.11.5 combo updater is 1.53 GB.

Thanks all. I have too many Apple devices with updates and too little bandwidth. Wish Apple supplied sizes with all updates to help with bandwidth management.

they do for some of them

Download OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 Combo Update

but if look at the item in the store none of the links resolve to a page that has that info. It appears to be inconsistent.
