Q: Duration in itunes is only 01:05 Sec but my Poadcast are 1:02:15 long

Here are my Problem:

 

My problem is that my RSS Feed is approved from apple, and it shown in itunes but the Duration in itunes is only 01:05 Sec. but my Poadcast are 1:02:15 long!!


On itunes Connect bevor i send it to apple to approve where i put the RSS-FEED URL below in the Area von Duration it show only 01:05 sec.


The XML File were the audio file is located on my server are how i say 1:02:15 long.

 

The Name is: Selfmade Business - mit Alex Fischer

I don't know what i can do, please please can you help me. I try to contact apple but there are no Area how are responsible for the Support for Poadcast.

    The file itself is perfectly OK, and appears and plays correctly when subscribed to in iTunes. The problem is in this tag:

     

    <itunes:duration>1:05</itunes:duration>

     

    This equates to 1 minute 5 seconds and the Store therefore will play only that amount of the file. The tag should read

     

    <itunes:duration>1:02:15</itunes:duration>

     

    If you are not handwriting your feed there must be a place in whatever creation method you are using to enter the proper timing.

     

    When you have a question, please start your own thread and post it in the correct forum - you tacked onto a thread on an unrelated subject in a different forum and I might very well not have seen it.
