Q: Calendar automatically switches time from 12 to 24 / 24 to 12

Hello,

I have a server on which lays a wiki which hosts an online group calendar. There are different members which can access the calendar.

Now the problem is, that if I create a new entry at the time of 12:xx or 00:xx, the calendar always automatically switches the time from 12 to 00 and from 24 to 12. For example if I want an entry which starts at 12:15 and I submit it, it starts at 00:15. I have to type 24:15 to get the starting time to 12:15.

With 12:15:

With 24:15:

Time Zone Configuration:

For the calendar: Europe/Zurich

On the server: Central European Summer Time (Closest City Zurich Switzerland)

Has anybody already had such an issue? Thank you for your help.

I had this problem before too. What I had to do was clear my iCal cache. You can do that by clicking on your home screen, going to the top and clicking on "go". While you have "go" open hold down the option key and you should see a Library folder. From there: Library > Caches. When you get to caches go to the search box and search iCal under "caches" not "this mac" from there, select all the caches except the ones that are "com.apple.ical.help" and delete them. That should solve the problem.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately this didn't work for me. When I search for "iCal" under "Caches", there are no files showing up. Even "com.apple.ical.help" does not show up.

Thank you for your answer anyway

Edit: I did it wrong, I have found the files now and deleted them. Was in the wrong folder probably. But it's still not working at the moment.

Oh I'm sorry this didn't work   that was probably the best answer I had for you. However, you might look through this article and see if anything in here looks like it might help. iCloud: Advanced Calendar and iCal troubleshooting - Apple Support

    I hope maybe this helps!
