May 18, 2016 1:48 PM in response to joemarcotteby turingtest2,Did you rebuild your apparently empty library by reimporting your content? Look at the list in the songs view with the date added column enabled. What is the oldest item in it?
Assuming something went wrong you should be able to recover your library, complete with original date added values, ratings, playlists, play counts, etc. with the steps in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash. This should help you repair the library so that all content is listed in 12.4. If it still doesn't work see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates and in particular the section Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components, uninstall all components, reinstall 12.3.3 and use the same method to restore a copy of the previous library database. Stick with 13.3.3 until there is another update that purports to fix the issue.

Aug 27, 2016 1:56 PM in response to joemarcotteby Richard Ripley,I also have a long list of albums in the default "Recently Added" section. With previous iterations of iTunes it showed the most recent items but not a VERY long list.
I used to have a reasonable selection of recent items but now the list goes back quite some time. Is there some way to change the settings for this Sidebar item in iTunes 12.4.3.1?

Aug 27, 2016 2:33 PM in response to Richard Ripleyby turingtest2,No, last time I checked the Recently Added section seemed to show all purchases rather than a list of recent additions to the library. Although it isn't as clear as that as I seem to have some really old non-store content in there as well. If it is a smart list it isn't editable and the rules are obscure.
