Q: Iphone 6  backup not working on 6S

I recently got a new phone and i made sure my old one was backed up to Icloud. I recently went back to itunes to get the backup on my new phone and It wasnt showing up so i reset the Phone and tried to get the backup that way. I can see my backup for my 6+ but it is under a different icloud account...I backed it up under my account not **********yahoo.com and it won't let me transfer the backup to my Phone because it says i need the password for that account.

Your post is extremely confusing.  Here's why:

iCloud backups do not show up in iTunes.  Perhaps you're talking about two different things, but then you've intermixed them.

This part sounds like you received a second-hand iPhone.  It sounds like the email address you show is not (and was never) yours.  If that's true, then that iPhone is Activation Locked as described below.  You must contact the original owner and have that person unlock the iPhone or it will remain useless to you.  If you got this iPhone from a dealer, return it.

If you can - please get your email off there -

One option is to reset your new phone to factory settings and then set it to restore the backup you want

First, iCloud & iTunes backups are completely separate.  I'm not sure what one has to do with the other as you are stating it.

That said, you SHOULD (and I have never done this, so I'm not sure) be able to sign out of your "new" iCloud account, sign into your "old" one (if you know the password), restore the "old" backup, and finally sign out and sing back in to your "new" account.  Of course, if you don't know the passwords, then there is not much you can do that I know of.
