Office 2016 key bindings now override OSX defaults

I recently updated my copy of Office 2016. Previously, throughout all Office products, the default OSX keybindings were in effect, eg:

Control-A : beginning of line

Control-E : end of line.

After the update, these key bindings have been replaced by the Microsoft style bindings, eg:

Control-A: select all

etc.

I can't find any information about overriding these bindings. This is a pretty big problem for me; I don't think I'll use Office if I cannot override these new key bindings.
