Q: Phone says low storage when I have storage

So as you can see in the picture my phone is low on storage, but nothing is taking it up. I've tried restoring my phone updating it and that only fixes the problem for maybe an hour before I get another low storage notification. This problem is keeping me from taking pictures installing apps and more.

I'm counting 8.5 GB just in what I am seeing in front of me.

The key number your screen shot shows is that you have 370MB free.

You need to boost that number to absolutely no less than 1.6GB, which is an increase of 1,230MB. That would be 10% of your total storage (16GB) free.

You should not expect your iPhone to function properly with any smaller amount of storage free.
