Q: Track pad just froze
Dear Apple Community,
At 40 years of age, this is my first macbook. I was nervous about buying one as I've never spent so much money on a laptop before. This reason I bought a macbook was I was sick of Windows laptops crashing all the time of having error messages come up and stay after only a few months.
I was amazed by the ease of use and speed of the macbook (2 week old), so was really happy.
Just now the touch pad froze and I had to hold the power button down to shut down the computer. This is the 2nd time it's happened. The last time, all I was doing was scrollig down in Facebook
My concern is that this is now happening all over again. After a few weeks my laptop is starting to breakdown.
You may think I am over reacting, but I've been through a laptop a year all with different techinical issues.
I didn't expect an issue after only 2 weeks and from a brand new mac.
Any ideas from you experts.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
