Q: The airplay device is not available

May 19, 2016 1:57 PMby javaliga,I was going to ask if this is a result of upgrading to iTunes 12.4, but since your tag says Windows XP I assume that is not the issue. Have you installed any third party software recently that may be causing a conflict? Maybe this will help:

May 20, 2016 1:20 AMby randy baton,I'm using windows7. I did think it might be due to the latest iTunes upgrade, but thought I'd used it since I installed the update. I can't be 100% certain though.
i'd looked at the guide you linked already. Airplay works fine from my phone to the speaker, it doesn't work from my Windows laptop.
