May 19, 2016 5:12 PM in response to Kevin Hunnelby fox_m,★HelpfulThere seems to be. I figured it to about 16000 characters give or take (probably lower). (Estimated from the original TextEdit character limit as it seems that the text handling in Motion and FCPX appears to be that type of core text service.) I drew this conclusion when developing a method of creating a subtitles in Motion. It eventually turned out that I had to cut scripts into "chapter sized" chunks to keep the character counts down. I never did get around to finishing that tutorial and it's been quite awhile now (and I can no longer find my notes on the subject). It could be the estimated character count is actually lower.
There is no way to reset the limit.

May 19, 2016 5:15 PM in response to fox_mby Kevin Hunnel,Thank you. I finally concluded after several failed attempts in new projects that this was the case and simply did a lot of cut and paste keyframes edits to get the result I was trying to create. I appreciate the feedback.
