Please let me know if and how the desktop icon for calendar can display the current date as it used to as it now always displays Jul 17. Your assistance and reply will be appreciated!

Make sure your settings are correct in System Preferences > Date & Time

Thank you for your reply, but I do have the correct date and time in system preferences. I found through another search that the date show is the default when apple went public and/or was created. I was just hoping that the date could be personalized as to show the current date instead. Thanks again for your reply!
