Q: time capsule blinking can't save airport utility not support

In the past two days, my time capsule had been blinking with amber light and the Wi-Fi is on and off.  The Printer can't print through the Wi-Fi.  I went to support and it suggested me to download the airport utility.  Since I am still using Yosemite 10.10.5, I downloaded the airport 5.5.3 and 6.3, I was unable to install either version to my computer.  It reported that the version on my computer does not support the software.

Which version should I use?  Any suggestion to fix the Time Capsule?

See pages 28 and 29. Using Airport Utility (page 29), I don’t see the options the manual says are there. I have done a reset and a full reset (page 28) many times and it has always straightened out the Time Capsule.

    Eric,

Thank you for the your help.  I unplugged the power, use the reset button to reset the Time Capsule a couple times.  The internet accessibility of internet through the Wi-Fi works most of the time even the amber light is still blinking. However, the air print does not work through the Wi-Fi network.  The Time Capsule indicate that it does not have the DNS server.  In the Utility, the box is empty.  I went through the Time Capsule menu, I was unable to find the DNS server information in the menu.  Do you know where can I find the information?

Open up the Airport Utility. There is a firmware update for the Time Capsule. Let it load up the information and install the firmware update. The newest firmware version is 7.6.7.

Check the preferences on the Airport software and check the box to monitor airport base stations for problems and these alerts will come up automatically.
