Q: Magic Mouse 2 Gestures not working

Just bought a new Magic Mouse 2 and I cannot get the "Point and Click" or "More gestures" options to show up for the new MM2.  Therefore, cannot scroll or switch between apps.  Right click seems to work on it's own, though.

As soon as i reconnect my old magic mouse, all the gestures return to the options menu.

I've tried just about every option of completely removing my old mouse and adding to the new one to see if there was any conflict between the two.  Nonetheless, the old mouse shows all the options, but the new one does not.

Here are the only options i have for the new Magic Mouse:

    Hi chmilestogo,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities! I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues with your Magic Mouse 2 and your iMac. If you are having unexpected behavior from your mouse (in this case, not showing preference options), you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following articles helpful:

Set up your Apple wireless devices - Apple Support

If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad aren't working as expected - Apple Support

Also, I'm unclear if the config info at the bottom of your post is up to date, but you may want to make sure that you are not still running the listed beta of El Cap:

    Apple Beta Software Program

    Regards

It is not very productive to phrase your question like that.   We know nothing of your machine, the OS it is running or the version of mouse you have because your profile has not been filled out with these details.
Can I suggest you write a new question and post it in the Magic Mouse forum then I can address your problem as an individual.   Please include the detail that I mention above and a description of what the actual problem is.
