Yes they are but your Apple ID password is not the same your admin password used to login into your Mac.

May 20, 2016 1:47 PM in response to lllaassby aporter06,Thank you. I never had an issue signing onto the Mac until last week. My password just didn't wanna work one day so I had to change it. when I click on my icon and then enter my apple password, it will load and then instead of taking me to my home screen, it shows the users again. Except this time when I enter my password, it tells me it's incorrect. Not sure what I am suppose to do to get to my main page.
