Force touch trackpad problem

Hi,

I seem to have a problem with my Macbook Pro's force touch trackpad (2015 15" Retina MacBook Pro). The only way I can explain it is that clicking it is very shallow, even with the "firm" setting. However, this only occurs on the left side and center of the trackpad. On the far right side, it feels normal, but on the left/center there's a noticeable difference. Also, moving the mouse cursor around works fine, and I can still click/force-click. I'm not sure what might've caused it, as I used the macbook the other day and it was completely normal. As far as troubleshooting goes, I've tried restarting the computer but that hasn't fixed it. Any help would be appreciated.
