avi player

AVI uses several different codecs. Some are playable directly by Apple's Quicktime Player. Others are playable by VideoLan Client. While others you need Mac OS 9 to play because they use the old Indeo Codecs which are no longer developed and the company that has made them is long gone.

You can find several AVI players on http://www.versiontracker.com/ and http://www.macupdate.com/ with varying capabilities.
