I reset my Time Capsule password after a Soft Reset. However I am unable to enter Time Machine. I get the error "Can't connect to current Time machine backup disk." Restarting didn't help.

You need to reselect the TC and change the password.
You can even reset TM completely.

What will happen then is kind of strange..
TM will say it is going to begin a new backup.. ignore that.
Once it actually starts for some unknown reason at 120sec.. it will discover the existing sparsebundle and continue the backup.
This post right next to yours also shows a method of doing it.

Thank you LaPastenague, I did the soft reset a second time, and that seemed to do the trick. However I realized that I had also changed the TC name, so needed to point Time Machine to the new Data file with the new name. Then I was able to run a backup.
Reset Time Capsule password, now cannot connect to a current Time Machine.
