Q: Kernel panics MacMini Yosemite due BUG in libdispatch ?
Hello,
With my mac mini from 2012 (yosemeti 10.10.5 / 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 / 8Gb memory / SSD 500Gb) I have about 4 times a month suffering from a kernel panic.
This happens randomly, there is no line in what you are doing at that moment.
In sytem.log I can see just before the crash reporting a BUG in libdispatch:
May 16 15:50:05 localhost opendirectoryd [73]: BUG in libdispatch: 14F1713 - 2004 - 0x5
May 16 15:50:05 localhost Dump Panic [54]: Saved panic report for kernel to /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Kernel_2016-05-16-155005_Mac-mini-van-Boudewijn .panic
May 16 15:50:05 localhost kernel [0]: Previous shutdown cause: -62
The BUG in libdispatch so what to do with the kernel panics and how can I fix it?
Can you with a kernel analysis tool to learn more about the cause?
Does it help to update to El Capitan?
Thanks to those who can help me.
