Q: Magic Mouse on Boot Camp 5.1 Windows 7
I've spent about the last two hours researching how to connect my Magic Mouse to Windows 7 via Boot Camp 5.1. Here's what I've tried:
Clicking the Bluetooth and Adding the device. Biggest problem, the mouse doesn't even show up as discovered (and yes the mouse is on, and yes I turned it on after opening the add device page).
I've also tried manually installing from the Boot Camp 5 Drivers from the Apple website. I even tried the 3.1, which seems to work for everyone else, except that since I have 5.1, it won't let me open the files.
I've even tried some third party software, but no luck.
I think if I can get Windows 7 to recognize the device I could install it, but it's not showing up in my choices. I tested the Bluetooth manager by seeing if it could see my iPhone, and it did. It's also prudent to say that it connected just fine on my OSX partition.
Any help would be great! Thank you!
Specs:
MacBook Pro Late 2011
OSX El Capitan
Boot Camp running Windows 7 64-bit
OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), Boot Camp 5.1; Windows 64-bit

Okay...So this was frustrating...it works, but the fix was frustrating.
I couldn't find it in Bluetooth because it was already connected.....yeah, right? I had to click the mosue a couple times to activate with W7. So....there's that. A whole week and 10 hours of research....
Now all I gotta do is make it to where all the fancy swipes work on W7.
