Q: My phone had told me that most of my storage was full even though there was more than 1GB left on icloud. today i tried to back up my phone onto my computer and i lost all my information ( text messages, photos, etc. ) what do i do to get them back?

My phone had told me that most of my storage was full even though there was more than 1GB left on icloud. today i tried to back up my phone onto my computer and i lost all my information ( text messages, photos, etc. ) what do i do to get them back? im sadly upset from what happened and hope there is a way to solve this manner to get my information back..

    The phone's message was likely about your storage on the phone, not iCloud. They are 2 different things.

     

    How did you lose data by trying to backup? What steps did you take and what error messages, if any, did you see?
