I just replaced my old wireless mouse for my iMac with a new Magic Mouse. It paired fine but none of the swipe features worked. I went to the Preferences for the Mouse, and tried to Set Up Bluetooth, the the box says "No mouse found". Any tips?

Assuming you have bought a Magic mouse 2, it will not function properly with a device using Yosemite, as your tag suggests. You need to upgrade to El Capitan 10.11 +. It does say that on the box, but it is easily missed because odf the small print.
