Q: Devices associated with iTunes account and Apple Music
I am trying to figure out how Apple Music would work in my situation and whether or not I need a family plan if I were to subscribe to the service. I know that you can have 10 devices associated with an iTunes account, but what's not clear is what constitutes a "device" and how they work with Apple Music.
Specifically, is a Sonos music player considered a "device" that is counted against the total number of devices? What about an AppleTV (and which AppleTV versions work with Apple Music)? And I assume the Sonos players and AppleTVs will work with Apple Music (and may or may not need to be registered as "devices" depending on answers to the first 2 questions above in order to work). What about an Apple Watch -- is that a "device" and does it work with he service?
If I have 4 family members, each with their own iPhone, and using my account for iTunes on their phone (i.e., they are registered "devices" on my iTunes account, but each has a separate Apple iCloud account, not currently used for iTunes), will they all be able to play from the one Apple Music account that is registered under my Apple ID?
Lastly, if I sign up for an Apple Music account here in the United States, will I have full functionality when traveling abroad, i.e., I won't be restricted somehow because I am not in the country where I signed up for Apple Music?
I have looked all over and can't seem to get clarity on this. Many thanks for the help!
