Have you tried to sign out of iCloud and back in to update the storage?

And you are using the same AppleID on your iPhone for iCloud that you used to purchase more cloud storage? Or did you buy the additional storage with your iTunes AppleID and not the iCloud AppleID?

Where are you seeing the 5GB?   In Settings > iCloud?

Have you checked at www.icloud.com from a Mac or PC if your iCloud Storage has been already increased? sign in on that web page with your iCloud AppleID and check the storage.

On my I pnone - Settings - iCloud- Storage- Bye more storage - 50 GB

And this panel is still showing 5GB storage? It should be showing 50GB available.

You should have  received an email from iCloud <do_not_reply@icloud.com> . This email will have an order number and a link to iCloud Support.  Write down your order number and the date.

On a computer you can check your Purchase History:  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204088

if you can access your Purchase history from iTunes on a computer, you will see a "Report a problem" button.

Use this to contact the iCloud Support.

If you don't have access to a computer with iTunes, use the iCloud Support Site directly.

The additional iCloud storage should increase the storage in iCloud, but will not increase the storage on  your iPhone, unless you move documents and data from the iPhone to iCloud.

If you did not receive an email, check your bank account payment if it lists an order number.

Then try to access your purchase history from a computer.

It looks like a confusion with your AppleID.
