Does the new OS X Server 5.1.5 App need to be installed on all the client devices that are to use the download of updates cache, as well as the device to run the service? Furthermore, should first update of an application be downloaded on the server?

1. Does the new OS X Server 5.1.5 App need to be installed on all the client devices that are to use the download of updates cache, as well as the device to run the server service?

2. Furthermore, should the first update of an application be downloaded on the server device or can that be done on any client device on your local network?

3. Finally, if an update is downloaded for windows running in a Parallel's virtual PC on a Mac, will that be cached too?

For one, the Caching Service in Server only works for MacApp Store purchases and updates and

only if you are one of the lucky ones that it will work for!!!!

For months now, I have been trying to get it to work for my Mac clients and have got absolutely no where!!!

It is a service that either works like a champ or doesn't work at all with no clue as to why!!
