Q: I can send Email but not receive from hotmail, says not connected computer using saved p/word but still won't respond when put in what I believe is correct p/w. What to do?

It sounds like you can send mail just fine but cannot receive it at your Hotmail account setup in the Mail application on your Mac. I would use the Connection Doctor to determine where the issue lies here and help you get that resolved:

Use Mail Connection Doctor

If you can’t send or receive email on your Mac, you can use Mail Connection Doctor to learn more about the issue. Mail Connection Doctor checks the status of your Internet connection and each of your email accounts.

Open the Mail app, then choose Window > Connection Doctor.
