Q: Photo album for delivery overseas.
Apple's printed photo albums are such a good product but are a complete disaster and dissapointment to us. We live in Australia and wanted to create an album for our visitors from the UK. We did so but Apple woin't let us have it delivered to another country. I doin't care what the reason for this is it is simply rediculous in this day and age. What we had to then do was order it for delivery in australia and send it ourselves. It took a while to come then we posted it too late for the recipients 40th birthday. It also cost us another $56 to post. So, we look like bad friends missing the birthday and we're out of pocket but it should be a good gift in the end right? Today I got a message from the recipient that they'd had a bill for 21 pounds from UK customs. As customers we are just furious with Apple for allowing this to happen. I've used Apple products for ever but this is just so sht I am furious. Lots and lots or chatter about so many other things going down the gurgler with their products (software mostly) as well that it really doesn't look good.
