Q: ipod nano 6th gen suddenly not identified w/windows 10
When I plug in my ipod, I get a message saying the ipod is recognized, but cannot be identified properly. I followed the suggested fixes to no avail-unplugged then replugged, uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. This problem occurred suddenly after years of trouble-free use. Any suggestions?

If you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, you probably did not completely remove iTunes and related software components. This Apple document lists the components of an iTunes installation and the precise order to uninstall them

After completely removing iTunes, reinstall the latest version
