Q: Can't restore iphone6 from backup - not enough storage

Hi all,

I've lost some messages on my iPhone somehow and am trying to restore from back up, which I did a week ago and encrypted for the first time.

When I click restore from back up and enter all relevant passwords I get 'restore in progress' on the phone, but then after a minute or so this comes up:

'Cannot restore backup for Gemiphone not enough space on phone"

Which is rubbish as there's plenty of space on my phone.

Anyone had this? know any way to get around it, sadly don't have another back up that's recent

Any advice appreciated, or decent apps that recover texts might be good too.
