MY daughter and I have 2 different Apple id's. I want to be able to receive her messages on my phone. How do I settings this up?

Use your own Apple ID for Family Sharing - Apple Support
Go to settings, iMessage, Send and Receive. You can put iMessage phone or email addresses there. Now if it's already on another phone I don't know if this works. I don't know if family share will let you do what I you are looking to do.
