Q: Problems with transfer of information from old pad to new..

I Bought a new iPad Air 2 and gave my old air to my husband to replace his ipad 2.  Have set up twice as problems with i Messaging. When I send a message from my new pad, it's being sent from my husbands name.  Went into settings to change the information, but his number is on there and I cannot edit it.  It wil let me edit emails but not the number.

ALso, I cannot take my email off the old air to replace with his email.  Have been going round in circles for hours and have lost the plot now.

Just to embellish a bit... Apple IDs have evolved to be more like phone numbers now.

 

Challenging, but possible to share. Best not to though.
