Iphone 4s crashed/froze while updating - disk full

My Iphone 4s crashed/froze while updating to IOS 9.?

It's stuck on the Itunes logo. A (hard) reset doesn't solve it.

I've tried 'update' and 'restore' via Itunes, but get the error that the disk is full.

What should I do?
