May 22, 2016 2:58 PM in response to Kenichi Watanabeby DLWorldCitizen,I tried everything, even to connect to my Mac (with or without iTunes running), so NO, it doesn't go into Disk mode it is just painfully LOCKED and the battery is just going down (as it already did before, a couple of months ago. I reinstalled everything then, and it worked, BUT… last time (this morning) it didn't worked either.)
The only thing I could do is to hit the SWITCH OFF button (= PLAY/PAUSE button) during the ONE SECOND black out moment, and then after many many times trying this it eventually switches off.
(I now go to sleep, it's already in the middle of the night here, in Belgium)
Have a nice day,
Danny

Mac OS XI don't think it's "locked." The cause is likely to be a hardware problem that prevents it from starting up properly. Probably the hard drive (or a problem on the logic board).
