    If you don't want El Capitan, either log into the Mac App Store with an Apple ID previously used to download Yosemite and click on the Purchases tab, or go to a physical Apple Store and ask for it.

    If you did not previously "purchase" Yosemite (10.10) then it is no longer available to you. If you want to update from 10.9 you have to go to El Capitan (10.11). If you previously purchased 10.10 then, as Neil said, go to the Purchases section of the Mac app store and redownload it.
