Some of my cousins named David is 12 years younger than me, he's 21, but he has an iPhone 5 and I saw him today and he wanted to replace his battery using screws. I did replace them on some phones, but does it void warranty? He uses iOS 8.1.2.

Apple would still have replaced the battery at a cost of $79. If the phone had been covered under the battery recall, he might have been eligible for it to be replaced for free. Now, Apple will never touch it again.
I just unboxed several iPhone 6s, and instead of doing a drop test, I planned out giving an iPhone 6s Plus to David, and iPhone 6s to his sister, Emily, who is 16 years younger than me (1999).
