unable to run ast 2

Hi Tom,

Call into Apple support and let them know you would like them to help you run a full diagnostics on your device if AST isn't working with you. I'm not sure what you are checking for specifically, but putting that out there as a possible alternative

And was AST 2 even available when the OP posted? If not, its hardly fair to refer to sberman's response as "incorrect" a year later.

And since the OP never replied with any details of why they could not run it, this whole thread is somewhat pointless anyhow.

Apple Services Toolkit (AST) is designed to be used with Macs, not iPhones.

I realize this post is rather delayed, but that is incorrect. The newer AST 2 has a full diagnostic suite for iPhones.
