Incoherent size of my Photos app

Hello,

First of all, excuse me for my poor English, I'm French...

I come here because the size of my Photos app is almost 230mb, yet I haven't any picture taken in it.

I don't know if there is a kind of "hidden" file I could delete using a Mac, but I thought I could restore the iPhone and then use a backup to find my data again.

Nevertheless, I saw on the Internet that restoring the iPhone would instantly install the newest version of iOS (iOS 9) which I don't want to use. In fact, my iPhone is an iPhone 5C, and I know the 9th version of iOS would give its some lags...

So I'm looking for another way to solve that problem.

Thank you for your answers I'm waiting for !
