Q: This is the second time I've opened iTunes since the upgrade. Each time another album disappears.

This is the second time I've opened iTunes since the upgrade. Each time another album disappears. If I search, I can find them, but they no longer appear with My Albums.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.7), Safari 4.0.1

    Hey there NimaG,

I understand that you are seeing some issues with your albums in iTunes being moved around your library, which requires you to search for them. You may want to try the steps in this article to help you address this issue:

If you don't see your content after you update iTunes - Apple Support

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203225

If this does not resolve the issue, would you mind posting more information about the behavior? Specifically, where are the albums being moved to if you have to search to find them? Are they being renamed? Are you still able to play the files? Is the information in your profile correct, and are you still on OS X version 10.5.7?

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

braden85, thank you for your reply.

I tried to follow the instructions in the link. Including doing the latest update: iTunes 12.4.1. Now I'm screwed! I open iTunes and get NOTHING!  When I use the menu bar and: > Go - nimarosepiper - Music - iTunes - iTunes Music < it's all listed there. But I don't know/ understand how to get it into iTunes so I can access it and play it.

    Yes. I am still on OS X 10.5.7. I have a 2007 iMac refurbished in 2009. Yes, I need a new, up-to-date computer. I can't afford it...

Everything I'm doing is just making me mad, upset, crazy.

I may call my local, authorized Apple store and see if they can help. Maybe I can take it in to them on my next day off...

Knowing that I am NOT adept at computers, even Macs, I am open to further help. Unless trying to follow it gets me more confused and screwed.

    Thanks again.

    Nima
