Q: 10.10 server file sharing wrong user
Hi all!
I have the following problem on a 10.10 server with ten 10.10 clients, and three 11.10 clients:
All clients AND the server are using the same Apple ID and therefore the same iCloud-Account, and most clients log on under the same user name, only three clients use individual user names.
Every user/client has a connection to the same share on the server configured as a startup item. The problem is, that when the user logs on, he gets connected to the share on the server, but instead of using the users log in credentials for the connnection to the share, the system automatically chooses to connect with the credentials of the Apple ID. It is kind of difficult to drop the connection again (i actually have to go into Server - file sharing - connected users and disconnect the users IP-address from here, because when i try to disconnect from the client within Finder, he gets immedeately reconnected). After disconnecting, i can manually log on to the share with the user names credentials, but next day everything starts again were it was before. What can i do to force the client to connect to the share with his username and password, and not his Apple ID nor guest nor anything else?
Thanks,
Rene
